Id-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in the national capital today with the sighting of the moon.
“The moon was sighted last night and Id will be celebrated today,” a spokesperson of Fatehpuri Masjid said quoting the Shahi Imam of Fatehpuri Masjid, Mufti Mohd Mukarram Ahmed.
Id-ul-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramzan, which commenced on August 21.
